This was never intended to be my “about me” photo or my family portrait but alas, it is my most recent favorite photo of us.
I include them because they are so much a part of me and my inspiration. I have been a photographer for as long as I can remember. I studied Art at Providence College and started shooting weddings shortly after. I have since had the pleasure to be a part of hundreds of weddings .Being married with 3 little boys has made me love and cherish my job even more because every day you see how important life and love really are.
My boys are of course over-photographed, but I know from experience that when I look back on all those crazy, sweet, silly, or happy moments that have been preserved, I am transported back to some of our best moments. Life flies by and those photos consistently make me smile.
I feel so lucky to photograph so much love.
They are food for my soul and it's even better when wedding clients come back to me over the years with a growing family for me to photograph. The great thing about love is that it never gets old. Photographing weddings and families gives me the opportunity to capture love surrounding people during their life’s biggest events. Not only the highlights, but those little unexpected moments as well. I truly feel honored to be a part of all that.
A few of my favorite things include ivy plants because they remind me of my nana, being super organized and having things in order, and hiking in the woods, especially when the light turns extra pretty. I like to believe that things happen for a reason. I always try to see the big picture and stay positive.
A few snippets about me:
I love to travel as much as I can, my bucket list of places I would like to see is a mile long.
I love lattes and fun coffee drinks, often pretending I am a barista when my family is over.
I like to think I have a green thumb, but I do not. I am on a roll with my house plants though… My favorite plant will always be Ivy because it reminds me of my nana.
I love hosting parties for my family. I have lots and lots of cousins and many of them are my best friends.
I like to think of my business similar to Homegoods but for photography. Photographers are always recommended to niche down and concentrate on one genre, however the variety keeps it fun for me. Just like at my favorite store Homegoods, you can get a little of this and a little of that (and a bunch of other things too), all at the same place. Safe to say I may have a shopping problem.
I LOVE lists, timelines, questionnaires and all things organization. I love bins and labels too.
I love a hike in the woods, especially when the light turns extra pretty.
