Surprise Proposal | Tommy & Jen | Boston, MA
Over the summer, I had the privilege of photographing another surprise proposal. I absolutely love these events. Seeing the shock, love and pure emotion of a surprise proposal is heartwarming to witness. On this day, Tommy led to Jen to Christopher Colombus Park in Boston under the guise of doing family portraits with his family so she was not surprised by my being there. His family was "late" so we started a few portraits of Tommy and Jen while we waited. Tommy walked Jen through the picturesque archway in the park while one by one his family and hers revealed themselves while reminding Jen of special memories they shared together. Jen was in complete shock and amazement. After making their way through the archway, Tommy steered Jen toward the rose garden where he had set up an acoustic band to play their favorite song. At the end of the song, surrounded by their families, Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Jen. Smiles, tears and lots of hugs followed. It was a beautiful moment for all. It was my pleasure to be there to capture this day for you!
