• My ultimate goal is to provide you with beautiful, emotion-filled photographs that will remind you of all the amazement and joy you experienced during the celebration of your wedding day, while at the same time, providing you with a professional, calming and comfortable experience. I truly love what I do and I take my job very seriously. I want nothing more than for you to absolutely adore your photos.

My shooting style is a mix of documentary plus some posed formals of your families. During family formals, I will guide you as necessary to the most flattering light but will always encourage you to be in the moment with your loved ones. For the remainder of the day, I will take a more candid approach. I always tell people that my zoom lens is my best friend. I will stay unobtrusive but will be right there to capture every detail, including the ones you won’t even see happen.

  • I do! The majority of my wedding clients opt for the second shooter, however I am also completely comfortable shooting on my own for weddings that are around 150 guests and smaller.

Second shooters are great for many reasons. If there are 2 getting ready locations, we often split up and each take one side of the wedding party. Second shooters also add a different perspective to your day, getting other angles, candids of guests during cocktail hour, and even more expressions from the crowd. I have a circle of second shooters who have just as much experience as myself. All editing is done by me to create a cohesive finished product.

  • I really don’t love the word pose but that's sort of what I do. However, when we get rolling with photos, I encourage you to make it your own and just enjoy each other. We always have fun and laugh a lot, and the end result doesn’t look very posed.

With that being said, I always first do a check to make sure your hair is how you like it, the suit coat is falling nice, the clasp on your necklace is in the back, and all things are in place before we get rolling. Details like that create a more polished look in your wedding formals.

  • Absolutely! As your day’s events fall into place, you can add more coverage either before the wedding, or you can play it by ear on the day of your wedding. I will always give you my honest opinion if I think you need more photos and I will never go home without your approval.

  • Of course! The 1st step is to narrow down the keepers. Usually that is about 1000 or so for an 8 hour day. My editing style has been described as timeless. Rather than using fancy filters, I take pride in individually editing the set for color correction, cropping, exposure, etc. Most importantly, I strive to give you a clean, classic rendition of your day. I hope what you have seen on my website is why you are reading these faqs!

  • I typically deliver around 100-140 individually edited images per hour of coverage, however every wedding is different. It is my goal to capture everything about your day and I naturally overshoot. I love to give variety in posing, even if it is just subtle changes in your smiles. I want you to have too many favorites!

  • Your wedding images will be turned around in 8-10 weeks but my goal is to have them back to you as soon as 6 weeks. I know it is super exciting to get your photos so I try not to keep you waiting too long.

Engagement session photos take approximately 2-3 weeks.

  • Yes, about 1 month before the wedding, we will plan to meet in person or talk over the phone to finalize every detail you would like photographed on your wedding day. I love to be super organized so I take extensive notes on your requests and timeline to ensure we have the proper amount of time to capture everything you want. We will go over all family groupings, locations, etc. that you would like captured.

It is important to note that each wedding day is different and oftentimes there are surprises in timing or weather that are unexpected. I promise to always do my best to accommodate everything that you would like.

  • A signed contract, along with a non-refundable retainer of $1500 will secure your booking.

  • Typically weddings book anywhere from 10-18 months in advance, but please contact me at any time to check my availability!

  • I love these sessions. Engagement sessions are included in my top 2 collections. They are a great way for us to get to know each other. It often eases any nerves about being professionally photographed. I promise you will go away from the engagement session seeing how easy it is. We always have fun!
